SWINDON FLAMES PEE WEE REDS

Due to the large numbers of beginners, and the relatively low age and inexperience of some of the existing Pee wee players, “The Pee Wee Reds” development skater hockey team was formed.

As a result of setting up this new team we were enrolled, and are playing in the SASH Peewee (under 12’s) league. All players of the “Reds” team are getting regular game, and coaching experience, which they may not have received whilst playing in a more experienced and older aged side.  

The main objective of the new “Reds” team is to develop each individuals playing skills, but most of all it’s to ensure that they have FUN learning, and competing in the sport. The average age of the team is 9 so by the time these players reach maximum Pee wee age they will have had a couple of years experience already behind them. 

We train at the Croft Sports Centre on Saturdays from 1pm-2pm. Any teams interested in friendlies, or new players interested in joining, please contact Mark by email at markclane@hotmail.co.uk
