S.A.S.H CALL UP FOR YOUTH FLAMES

 

Swindon Skater Hockey Club are proud to announce that three of their club members have been selected for duty with the 2008 Southern Area Skater Hockey (SASH) Youth team.

Swindon Flames Adam Rose, Oliver Thompson and Connor Mackenzie will be competing in the British Inline Skater Hockey Association’s (BISHA) National Regional Championships which are held annually and sees the best of each region’s players combined into regional squads to compete for the title of National Champions.

The Flames youths join the team determined to help SASH retain the title of National Regional Champions for the third successive year.

Commenting on the selection, Flames youth team manager, Derek Thompson, said, “ As in previous years the Swindon Flames are well represented in the regional squad which is a testament to the ongoing development programme being run throughout Swindon Skater Hockey Club. Adam, Oliver and Connor should be congratulated on their selection as it is much deserved and a credit to their own hard-work, dedication and ability. I am sure that they will do well and prove to be valuable assets to the SASH squad as they mount their challenge for the 2008 Regional Championship title.”
