Skater Hockey is an off-ice version of ice hockey, played in local sports halls. Like ice hockey, it is a contact sport, but is played with a ball as opposed to a puck. Both former skater hockey players and ice hockey players are welcome at the training sessions/try-outs. For the latter, the costs of skater hockey are substantially less than those of ice hockey.
