The Youths had there first game of the season as Southend came to
the Croft. Swindon came out easy 11-1 victors with a solid team
performance where all players got plenty of court time with several
players playing there first inline game. The game started well with
Swindon dominating the game with and opened the scoring through
Jamie Kilby after a great pass from the experienced Olly Thompson
further goals came from Sam Nobbs and debut goal for Ryan Couling
and 1 for Ally Baker while Liam Mcguire was rarely tested in goal
for Swindon.
The 2nd 15min period saw much of the same with Swindon controlling
the game with a mix of good passing and strong fore checking goals
in this session came from Jake Latham, Jamie Kilby & Olly Thompson
while Callum Lane hardly saw the ball in the Swindon goal with the
Swindon defence cutting out any Southend pressure.
The final session saw Swindon continue with there game plan and 2
players completing there hatricks in Jamie Kilby and Jake Latham and
Sam Nobbs getting his second of the game while Southend replied with
a solo strike which Goalie Jake Silvester was unlucky to keep out
after earlier making a great save on a breakaway.
