Junior Training - Change of venue

Due to ongoing issues with the leaking roof at The Link Centre and the proposed closure of the the sports hall during November & December 2009, Swindon Skater Hockey Club are pleased to announce that with immediate effect that the Thursday night junior training sessions will now be held at The Croft, the spiritual home of the Club.

Nigel Davies, the club chairperson said "This time last year, we listened to our Junior members and changed the training nights from a Fridays to Thursday nights, which has seen an increase in regular attendance by our 16 -18year  olds. The Croft were unable to accommodate the move last year and we were fortunate to secure the use use of The Link. The Croft, the home of Skater Hockey in Swindon are now able to accommodate our 16-18 year group, and owing to the ongoing issues with the roof at the Link, together with the proposed closure of the hall later this year, the Committee are pleased to see this group return to The Croft. We are grateful to The Link for the assistance in the 9 months that we have used their facilities.

The first session is Thursday 3rd September 2009 - Junior Reds 2000hrs-2100hrs & Junior Flames 2100hrs-2200hrs
